Cervical Cancer
I am writing this today to share an extraordinarily amazing story with everyone and anyone who may be interested.
Approximately 2 years ago, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Although they ultimately concluded that it was small and slow growing, I was informed that I would need a radical surgery which would include removing many of my lymph nodes. This seemed terrifying and rather unbelievable.
I went to visit Dr. Wu who immediately started acupuncture treatments for my cancer. After about eight weeks of treatment and special herbs formulated by Dr. Wu, I was scheduled for a complete pet scan so that the surgeons could learn if the cancer was metastasizing. After anxiously awaiting my results, I was informed by the pathologist that not only was it not metastasizing; there were absolutely no signs of cancer anywhere in my body. I was also told then that it was the pathologist’s opinion that surgery should not be required.
It is my belief that because of Dr. Wu and acupuncture, I was saved from making a big mistake. Needless to say, I did not undergo radical surgery. I am ever grateful to Dr. Wu and his staff. It is his great faith, kindness and dedication to helping others that makes him the most exceptional medical professional that I have ever had the pleasure to know. As a result of his care, I am cancer¬free. In addition to ridding my body of the cancer, Dr. Wu has also regulated my hormones and balanced my excessive body heat with his treatments. He has cured me of hyper-thyroidism, another serious condition, which required medication. Within a couple of months, I was able to stop taking the harmful drugs. Upon my last checkup, my numbers looked so good and my physician informed me that it was under control and the medication was no longer needed.
My only hope is that if there is anyone reading this that is faced with any situation; they would first do their “homework” and seek alternative advice before making any decisions. Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
It came as a shock when in June 2008 I was diagnosed with stage 3 Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). My wife and I decided against the chemotherapy treatments recommended by the Oncologist. Instead, we took an alternative course of action utilizing a dietary regimen consisting of natural /organic foods, the elimination of sugar and most processed food products and an increased use of antioxidant nutraceuticals.
Approximately a year later I began to notice swelling in the lymph nodes on the right side of my neck. This was the time at which I began acupuncture treatments with Dr. Wu.
My wife and I were travelling from Pensacola to Mirimar Beach when we stopped in into Everiman Natural Foods Coop and picked up a brochure which had an advertisement from Healing Arts Acupuncture offering a free consultation. We visited the office and were greeted with a warmth and friendliness that instantly took the edge off my apprehension.
Dr. Wu invited us into his office and listened to my medical situation and with complete confidence stated that he could effectively treat my condition with acupuncture treatments and an oral herbal/mushroom remedy. His reassuring demeanor gave me the faith to place my health in his hands. The results are remarkable and I cannot thank Dr. Wu and his staff enough.
Kidneys
For many years, I have been diagnosed with many forms of diseases. Lately, I have been told by several specialists that because of my failing kidneys, I would soon be living on dialysis, with a short span of life. I am not a likely candidate for kidney transplant and in my late 60’s.
I met Dr. Wu, by chance, and started acupuncture treatments. Within, a few months, my kidneys, which were operating at 35%, were now operating at 43%. I have continued with Dr. Wu’s treatments for 8 months now and today was told by my Kidney specialist that my kidneys were operating at 50%. For anyone who has been close to living off a machine at 15%, I can tell you that I am walking, living proof of what acupuncture can accomplish. Dr. Wu is not only a specialist in his field but a Godly man who has been given a gift of healing.

Loss of Vision and Headaches
In 2008, Penny English’s seventeen-year-old daughter, Danielle, was suddenly struck with excruciating migraines and partial blindness in one eye. Despite eight months of testing and experimental treatments, even a team of specialists from the Johns Hopkins Hospital couldn’t determine the cause of her symptoms. The blindness was also spreading to her other eye. Equally terrifying, her doctors were recommending more drug injections — and these could possibly cause a heart attack or stroke.
A chance exchange with a friend, however, led English to Dr. Wu’s office. “I would have tried anything. By then I had exhausted all avenues and was desperate,” said English, who had never considered acupuncture for a serious illness. “After Danielle’s first treatment, she told me that it no longer hurt to breathe. My husband and I were thrilled and decided that Dr. Wu’s treatments were definitely worth continuing.”
By the third visit, Danielle’s headaches had completely stopped and her eyesight was returning, and within three weeks of beginning acupuncture treatments and herbal supplements, Danielle’s vision was totally restored, which her ophthalmologist confirmed.
What was Dr. Wu’s theory on the cause of Danielle’s terrifying affliction — which, by the way, has never occurred again? According to English, “He thinks all the asthma medications and steroids that Danielle took as a child poisoned her body, causing her liver and kidneys not to function properly.”

Migraine Headaches
For over fifteen years I have had daily migraine headaches. My doctors ran all kinds of tests, prescribed different codeine pills, still it did not stop. They put me on seizure pills to prevent my headaches. I stopped when I blacked out and had an accident, they sent me to a shrink and the saga continued. I decided to see an acupuncturist in Daphne, it worked for awhile, then I tried our local doctors and it did not worked out. Over dinner a friend mentioned Dr. Wu in Miramar Beach, I made an appointment.
I made the long trip with a headache. Dr. Wu told me I had real bad sinus and he can fix my headaches with two treatments. I was skeptical, but hopeful. The next couple days I blew my brains out because of the drainage, until the next session. It has been over six weeks and no headaches. I’m grateful to Dr. Wu who cured my suicidal painful headaches. The amazing thing is I have been to an Allergy Doctor and was told I was allergic to dust, I had a Botox shot that did not work, it made me look like I have run thru 150 mile tunnel and can not stop smiling. I underwent pancreatic surgery to remove a cyst… After four treatments of acupuncture and twelve weeks of herbal therapy, my digestion had returned to normal, my energy had improved tremendously, and my activity level had surpassed what it had been before my surgery. Severe Morning Sickness

Shingles
In February 2008, my then 71 year old husband, who goes by Larry, had an outbreak of shingles on the right side of his abdomen. At the same time, there was a small sore developing on his right leg due to just a small infected injury. We treated the shingles with various herbs, oils and pain-relief lotions. Eventually the blisters cleared up but white scar tissue was left on the front and back. The post herpetic neuralgia had not left, however and he had great pain at times. Meanwhile, we were using home remedies and store bought ointments on the leg. The infection did not clear up and by October the leg was looking worse and beginning to swell. This was a concern to Larry. (He does not like dealing with medical doctors and using prescribed medicine and drugs.) In November, Larry had another kind of rash. It was extremely itchy at times. Sometimes Larry was in such agony that he would cry out in pain during the night and sometimes during the day. About this time my daughter spoke with a friend (Rebekah Murfee) who had been greatly helped by Dr. Wu’s treatments. When Larry heard of this he decided to check Dr. Wu out and so in November he began his first of many treatments at Healing Art Acupuncture.
During our first visit, Dr. Wu expressed great concern about the leg and told us that we almost waited too late. Had we gone to a medical doctor the leg would probably be amputated. He told us that he could help us. Apparently what Larry had was cellulitis — a deep tissue infection which, if unchecked, could get into the blood stream and spread all over the body. Beside the acupuncture treatments, Dr. Wu gave us directions on using hibiscus gel and bee propolis on the leg every day. After the second visit he gave Larry a regimen of herbal preparations. We soon noticed that the left leg was getting a rash and both ankles and legs were swelling up. Larry’s body was probably throwing off poisons. The legs began oozing a foul-smelling pus which ran down the legs. About this time Larry had to use crutches to walk, since the cracks made walking painful. At some point we quit using the propolis on the legs but Larry still took it internally. In March we began to see a remarkable change. The pus began drying and we could see an improvement each week thereafter.
These are the improvements Larry has experienced so far: He is sleeping fairly well through the night. (The agonizing pain left a week or two after treatments.) The swelling in both legs has completely disappeared. The pus, cracking and peeling skin has gone and the normal color of skin has returned. It is not completely back to normal but it is almost there. Leg hair has grown back. Larry can walk longer distances now. He has been on several long walks recently. He has more energy and he has gained some weight; now he is up to 132 lbs. – Rebecca Crow
